Three Vintage Jewelry Trends for 2021
Here are three vintage/antique jewelry "trends" I'm loving for 2021. If you appreciate vintage and antique items, you know "trend" is a dirty word but in this case I'm referring to styles I believe will see a surge in popularity 😁.
1) S-link chains aka 2021's version of the herringbone chain. S-link chains catch the light in the best way as herringbone chains do but with a bit more unexpected, cool swagger.
An S-link chain with a sparkly, north-south marquise diamond (combining trend #1 with trend #3).
2) Aquamarine stones feel light and airy. I'd never been a huge fan of aquamarine but its "lightness" is clearly necessary post 2020 (p.s. air sign over here 🌤).
Pear shaped aquamarine pendant with diamonds on a 14k box chain (combining trend #2 with trend #3).
3) Rise in popularity of non-round gemstone cuts. I'm appreciating the pear and marquise cuts more than ever along with other less common cuts. I also like the idea of wearing these cuts in everyday jewelry so that they seem even more approachable (compared to being set in an engagement ring for example).
