Vintage Wedding Decor in the Time of Covid
Here's another stunning flower arrangement that my sister made for my recent October wedding. After Covid changed the original flower plan, we decided to pursue DIY flower arrangements based off of vintage brass and copper bowls sourced from Etsy.
It worked out for the better: for a fraction of the professional budget, we purchased well-made, second-hand items that will continue to be used around the house. The fact that each vessel was unique added an unexpected charm to the flower arrangements overall.
For the flower design, we wanted an organic, not-too-perfect look, with a lot of greenery and white flowers but with added pops of yellows, oranges, and pinks.
This particular bowl was purchased from Home with Ashley. It is a cheery, mid-century, solid brass pedestal bowl made in India
Time period: 1970s.
