The Little Things

Being stuck at home during Covid-19 has really made me notice the little things. Never before have I appreciated something so much as planting wildflower seed in the backyard and just watching nature's process.

One of my earliest vintage-collecting addictions was old bottles and jars. The colors and weights of these objects feel unique to a past era and not something that could be replicated by even the most high-tech processes today.

Among my favorites, which will definitely appear in future posts, are purple apothecary bottles and blue-green Coke bottles with cities and states embossed on the bottom. Sometimes we still find these Coke bottles buried in the ground up in Vermont!

What is something little that you appreciated today? (Not something you were told you should like or something you "have to have". It could even be a welcome sight or smell.)
