Team Vintage vs. Team Contemporary

A few weeks ago, I posted my favorite vintage gold hoops. And these are my favorite non-vintage hoops.

From left to right:

1. Puffy, gold hearts on gold hoops. These feel like updated Barbie earrings. Girly but not too girly.

2. I bought these squarish hoops during the heyday of Rebecca Minkoff (anyone remember those trendy bar necklaces??) but I still really like their shape.

3. A pair of elongated, antique cushion cut diamond hoop drops from The One I Love NYC. The old diamonds are so sparkly and combining them with a contemporary rose gold hoop is the epitome of cool in my opinion.

4. Tiny, little rectangular diamonds on gold hoops also from The One I Love NYC. These are the type of earrings you can live and sleep in.

Time period: contemporary.
